Oprah Winfrey’s speech at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) Wednesday night went viral after using the phrase “Childless cat lady,” which resulted in the camera awkwardly pointing to a female delegate in the crowd.
As the billionaire was giving her endorsement to Vice President Kamala Harris, she referenced a comment that Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) made a few years earlier when he speculated that the country was being run by “a bunch of childless cat ladies” that were “miserable at their own lives.”
